As for others who have tested it. All have mentioned how the power is really nice and that it produces a lot of power. A few have mentioned how the touch is really consistent making dinking and especially 3rd shot dinks really nice.
The Racquet: It felt good in the hand and was medium weight but moved well. We calculated it was a 13 mm and well balanced. Players liked the space above the grip which added some effect to the speed of the movement of the racquet.
Power: This is a powerful racquet and plays very well in the hands of a good player, although some thought it would be too 'aggressive' for 3 or3.5 level players.
Spin: Very good spin effects both top and slice. Easy to use and very effective.
Sweet spot: The 'racquet' design with an integral frame means that the sweet spot effect is achieved over a wider area than most other racquets/padels. A very useful advantage.
Overall: A very impressive design and should be very popular when it comes to Great
Thanks for the great racquet. I am learning to use it well.
The textured surface means you can put stupid amounts of spin on the ball - your opponents won't know what hit 'em!
What really blew my mind is the carbon fusion technology -- they use this foam injection process to fuse the faces together, creating a monster sweet spot that seems to wrap around the whole paddle. Hardly any dead spots and mishits are basically eliminated.
The perception of control surpasses many of the top brands is awesome, especially in the sweet spot.
Of course, this did slow down the swing speed slightly, but it did add stability and increase the sweet spot.
I’m still finding that there is minimal sweet spot out near the tip. And I’m comparing that to my Joola Hyperion C2 and my wife’s Diadem PowerPro Edge 18 K which both seem to have better results when hitting closer to the tip.
Please put me on the list to order your Aero 2. I want to be the first in line.
What an amazing racket. For a moment I actually believed I was good.
Just love it.
LOVE
WITH THE RACQUET!!!
Between throat holes, edge foam, and hybrid shapes, everyone is trying to make a paddle play like a racket, so Jonny built a racket! The difference really is huge. The first thing I noticed was a significant reduction in swing resistance, which gets the paddle face where it needs to go faster and more accurately than other paddles I’ve used. Then when it gets there, the stability of a full frame makes the hitting surface incredibly forgiving. But don’t let the giant sweet spot fool you, this racket can put the hurt on an overhead smash with authority! The Aero1 is an iron fist in a velvet glove.
Whether your game is the traditional NVZ chess match or the high-octane shake and bake, it will benefit from the forgiving touch at the NVZ and the exceptional shape of baseline drives and passing shots. This racket is going to continue to push the evolution of pickleball.
